Welcome to the website of DOGS-East Search and Rescue. DOGS-East is a professional volunteer wilderness Search and Rescue organization serving primarily the Mid-Atlantic Region and on-call for natural disasters in the continental United States.

If we are unable to answer, please leave a message with your name, agency, callback number, and a brief description of the request. We will return your call as soon as possible. If unable to contact us, we may also be requested directly through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) at (804) 674-2400.
